Kimberley to Kelowna ...

About this week's pick (or pic) of the week:   This week's pick is a video.  Essentially my first crack at making a small movie.  For the 8 minutes of edited footage I had 3 hours of tape, and a lot of appreciation for the people who do this sort of thing for a living.  Each segment would take me a long time to setup, tape and then in many cases come back for the camera.  Armed with the backroads mapbook for the area, I drove mostly pavement to Kimberley, but after that it was all dirt.  The toughest section was Nelson to the Needles.  A combination of remoteness and driving solo had me on my toes most of the way.   That, above all made it feel like a big accomplishment.  A second try at the trip wouldn't be nearly as scary.  Enjoy the clip.
